The Board of Trustees will hold public hearings on a moratorium for shipping container uses in residential districts. The public hearings will be held on: June 3, 2026 at 6:30PM, June 17, 2026 at 6:30PM and July 15, 2026 at 6:30PM. The public is invited to provided comment on the proposed moratorium.

2027 TAX BUDGET
Two copies of the proposed 2027 Tax Budget for Newbury Township, Geauga County, Ohio will be on file and available for inspection on or after June 5, 2026, at the Newbury Town Hall, 14899 Auburn Road, Newbury, Ohio. These copies will be available from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during normal workdays. Please call ahead or schedule an appointment before coming in. You may contact the Town Hall Administrative Office at 440-564-5997. A Public Hearing on this Tax Budget will be held at the Newbury Fire Station, 11111 Kinsman Rd, Newbury Township at 6:30 p.m. on June 17, 2026.

The Newbury Township Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on an
application, identified as number BZA 2026-06, for an AREA Variance, on June 16, 2026 starting at 7:00 pm.
This will be located at the Newbury Fire Station at 11111 Kinsman Road • Newbury, OH 44065
The application is BZA 2026-06 submitted by Gregory Dimattio requesting an area variance at 13860 King Arthur Ct Newbury, Oh 44065.
Persons affected or wishing to comment may speak for or against either in person or by
